Window Cleaning Scaffold Smashes Through Highrise Windows

n San Diego, CA last week an unmanned window cleaning scaffold fell and started swinging. The swinging was completely uncontrollable because no one was on the scaffold. No one was injured during the event. The even occurred on Market Street in the late afternoon according to the firefighters who were called to respond.

It is believed that high winds caused the scaffold to fall and swing. The area was secured prior to removing the window cleaning scaffold from the side of the building
